Located in the village of Peldon, close to historic Colchester, Mersea Island and the North Essex coast, Sampton Wick Bed and Breakfast offers a warm friendly welcome in beautiful traditional surroundings.

Prices: From £30 per person per night

We have plenty of parking space and can easily accommodate your caravan, boat or horse box.

If you are looking for a base for horse riding excursions there is stabling and grazing available (by prior arrangement).

We operate a no smoking policy in the house. You are, of course, free to smoke anywhere outside, except the hay barn (for obvious reasons).

Sampton Wick

Built between 1330 and 1360, the house is Grade II listed and contains a wealth of period features, including low timbered ceilings (in some places very low!), uneven floors and beautiful working fireplaces.

The garden is large and secluded and includes a boating lake (with a boat) and summer house - just right for relaxing on warm summer evenings.
